My Fourteen Favorite Albums of 2011 (Part One)

I was going to do a traditional "Best of" list, but then I thought, "well, that's awfully pretentious of me! Who am I to say this album is better than that album?" That is why, instead, I'm going to simply tell you about my favorite albums of 2011. The ones that I listened to and enjoyed the most this year. They may not be instant classics, and I may not be listening to them years from now, but they stood out for me this year. They carved out their little corner in my year. Hope you'll discover something new that you dig within my list. Anyway, before I start sounding like a pretentious asshole here, in no particular order, are my favorite albums of 2011, complete with moving pictures for your enjoyment:
